Prep: Avoid blood thinning medications (with a doctor’s consent) and herbal supplements (Advil, Motrin, Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Vitamin E, Fish Oil, CoQ10, Ginkgo, St. John’s Wort, Omega, Garlic) for 1-2 weeks prior to injections. Avoid alcohol for 1-2 days prior to injections and 24 hours after injections. Focus on staying hydrated and getting good sleep also.

Process: Your provider Lindsay Lyall, PA-C, will discuss the microneedling process with you and make sure that your skin is  prepped for the procedure. From there, your face will be numbed, and she will use the VirtueRF to stimulate collagen and elastin. Depending on your skin type and treatment goals the provider will discuss different serums and add-on options that will be used to enhance the result. 

Recovery Time and Results: Results from VirtueRF Microneedling can take a few days to a couple of weeks to show up, especially after your very first treatment. Most people tend to notice a generalized tightening of the skin within a few days, as well as a glow and fullness to the entire face, and will notice that their skin looks healthier. It's recommended to schedule treatments at least two weeks before a major event.
