Who we are

Highly trained experts in the aesthetics and wellness field, we love what we do at Avanti Aesthetics & Wellness, where we elevate beauty and empower health at the Premiere MedSpa in the High Country.

Gena Amato

Gena Amato is the original brainchild of this aesthetics and wellness venture. She saw a need for a premiere aesthetics and wellness spa in the High Country, and launched this business to fill that need.

While not a provider, Gena is highly trained and educated in all aspects of aesthetics and wellness, having been trained and educated by the best in the industry, including Aleta Sloan PA-C/LSO (@aletasloanthepa) in Wilmington, NC and Jordan White BSN, RN, LSO (@the_murse_injector) of Urban Aesthetics and Skin Bar in Gilbertville, VA and Fischerville, VA.

Gena has been married to her high school sweetheart, Dr. Francis X. Amato III, DMD who practices in West Jefferson NC, for over 40 years. They love living in the high country, where they raised three beautiful daughters, Madelaine, Lillian and Abigail, and where her parents now live with them. They prioritize their faith, family and friends.

Lindsay Lyall, PA-C

Lindsay Yount Lyall, PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant and native of Ashe County. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies from East Carolina University and has worked primarily in Family Medicine, although she has also been providing aesthetic services for years.

She believes in providing natural, beautiful results to bring confidence and joy to her patients. Lindsay has had advanced training by the best in the industry, including Aleta Sloan PA-C/LSO (@aletasloanthepa) in Wilmington, NC and Jordan White BSN, RN, LSO (@the_murse_injector) of Urban Aesthetics and Skin Bar in Gilbertville, VA and Fischerville, VA.

When Lindsay is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and wonderful children (two daughters and a son), traveling, or just spending time at home in the mountains.
